Our journey towards salvation and our eternal life with God is based on our faith in our Lord. However, as Jesus Christ told his disciples, no matter how small our faith may be, even the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains. Many times on our journey in life, our faith is questioned by others, and even sometimes by our own selves. This often results in our complete loss of faith and trust in the Lord’s plan for us and many times we lose sight of why we are on this journey to begin with. Just as Jesus Christ told his disciples to follow him, we have been asked to follow him and to have faith in the plan set for us. By learning more about how to maintain our faith in the Lord through the many obstacles we may face, we will be able to continue on this journey towards the hope of salvation.

Rev. Larry Varghese was raised in Houston, Texas and is the youngest of three brothers. He has a Bachelor of Divinity from Mar Thoma Theological Seminary - Kottayam, and was the Assistant Vicar at Ebenezer Mar Thoma Church, Othera, Kerala. Larry Achen has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas - Austin and did post graduate studies in Electrical Engineering at the University of Houston. He is currently serving as the the full-time vicar of Horeb Mar Thoma Church.
